How our services work:
We work on a variety of different ways. Traditionally we are a
fee based organization that charges a monthly retainer for services
along with a success fee based upon production. Each situation
is different depending on the amount of services required and also
how much work will be required of our company. Too many people
think that it is just a matter of advertising a product in a foreign
country and you will get sales. Unfortunately, this is not the
case.
A great deal of work must be done prior to any product introduction
into a new or foreign market. Research into buying patterns, government
regulations, export requirements and other “ground work” must
be done before a successful joint venture partner or distribution
agreement can be consummated. Often the creation of sales and marketing
materials, pricing information and other basic written materials
must also be created by our staff in advance. This all takes time
and money.
Occasionally Simark will represent a product or a company on a “success
fee only” basis. This is typically done due to the fact that
Simark believes that the company is relatively close to having
the components of a successful international development project
already established. The further along our clients, the quicker
we are able to provide for them.
As always, we cannot guarantee success. Many things can happen
that can change the outlook of a product and our efforts.
